Description
She graduated with Honors from Texas Christian University with a BS degree in Biology and a minor in Religion Studies. She went to medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston and went on to her Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1998 and continues to participate in the Maintenance of Certification program. She is an active member of both the National and Texas Chapters of the American College of Physicians.
